Society Bye-laws are the rules and regulations laid down for the proper and peaceful running of cooperative housing societies. Co-operative society bye-laws are approved by the government authorities and are formed with the intention to help the societies self-regulate themselves. 

MODEL BYE-LAWS OF COOPERATIVE HOUSING SOCIETY

V. AFFILIATION (Bye Law No 6)

Bye Law No 6. Affiliation of the Society to other Co-op Institutions 

The Society, immediately after its registration, shall become a Member of the Co-op Housing Federation of the District / Ward / Taluka, the District Central Co-operative Bank of the District, and shall pay sums, from time to time, payable by it, under the bye-laws of the respective organizations referred to above.
